The team

He is Chairman of Anima Alternative Sgr and Chairman of Castello Sgr. From 2018 to 2023 he has been Chairman of ANIMA Holding and ANIMA Sgr.

From 2012 to 2017 he has been working as Head of Finance Function and member of the Board of Directors of PREVIP pension fund. From 1998 to 2012 he has been General Manager and member of the Board of Directors of Allianz Global Investors Italia Sgr.  From 1982 to 1998 he held various positions in Ras, Cofina and Gestiras (now Allianz Global Investors Italia Sgr).

He holds a Degree in Economics from Bocconi University with honors.

Giampiero Schiavo is CEO of Castello Sgr since 2007 and CEO of Anima Alternative Sgr since 2023. From 2000 to 2007 he worked as Head of the M&A Division in E. Capital Partners Spa, where he was also a partner from 2000 to 2007. Previously, he worked at Server Consulting from 1997 to 2000 as a Real Estate Finance Associate.

 He holds a Degree in Business Administration, with specialization in Corporate Finance, from Bocconi University.

He has been Head of Investments Officer of Anima Alternative since its establishment in 2020.

He had been CEO of Anima Alternative from 2020 to 2023.

Philippe has over twenty years of experience in corporate finance, working for leading financial institutions, most recently as Italy Country manager of CAPZA and previously as Founding partner of Emisys Capital and CEO of Mezzanove Capital.

Before that he worked for 7 years in Mediobanca as Head of Structured Financing, dealing with leveraged finance, project finance and real estate finance.

He has been Deputy Head of Investments Officer of Anima Alternative since its establishment in 2020.

Andrea has more than twenty years of experience in credit and corporate finance, most recently as a founding partner of Emisys Capital and CIO of Mezzanove Capital.

Before that he worked for 6 years in Mediobanca as Head of Credit analysis and Rating advisory. prior experiences came in Arthur Andersen, BP Amoco and Banco Ambrosiano Veneto.

He graduated in Business Administration and took a postgraduate course in Corporate Tax Law, both at Bocconi University in Milan.

He has been with Anima Alternative since April 2022 as Investment Director.

Previous positions include Investment Professional at Oxy Capital and Management Consultant at McKinsey & Company. Prior to that, he gained extensive experience at GE Capital as part of the Debt Restructuring and Leverage Finance teams.

He holds a degree in Business Economics from Bocconi University and a Master's degree in Economics from Cattolica University in Milan. He completed his education with a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the London Business School.

Andrea heads the Institutional and Wholesale Division of ANIMA Sgr and is Commercial Director of ANIMA Alternative SGR. He joined ANIMA (formerly Prima Sgr) in 2009 as Head of Relations with Institutional clients.

Since 2006 he has held the position of Head of institutional clients in Société Générale Asset Management Italia. Previously he was Head of research in Benchmark & ​​Style products. He graduated in Economics of Financial Institutions and Markets at Bocconi University in Milan and completed his education with an advanced class in Global Asset Allocation from SDA Bocconi and an operational Master's degree in Fee-only financial planning.

He Is Chief Operating & Trading Officer of Anima Alternative Sgr since 2023. He is also a Non-Executive Director of ANIMA Funds Plc and Anima Investment Sicav. In ANIMA since 2012, he has been General Manager and Executive Director of ANIMA Asset Management Ltd (later merged in Anima Alternative Sgr) from 2018 to 2022. Previously this role, he was  the Head of Business & Operational Development and later the Head of Products & Sales.

Before joining ANIMA, he worked as Financial Advisor in Banca Apulia S.p.A. (now Intesa Sanpaolo). He holds a law Degree from the University of Foggia and a Master in Banking & Finance from Il Sole 24 Ore Business School.

Marta Colmegna is Investment Manager of Anima Alternative since January 2023. Previously, she gained experience in leveraged finance working as Manager for the M&A Debt Advisory team in PwC. Prior to that she worked as Analyst for the M&A division in Pirola Corporate Finance and Transaction Services in KPMG.

She holds a Degree with honors in Business Management from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.

He has been with Anima Alternative since June 2020 as Investment Manager.

Riccardo has many years experience in private markets in the CAPZA investment team and previously in Emisys Capital Sgr.

He holds a Master of Science degree in finance from Bocconi University in Milan. 

She has been in Anima Alternative since October 2021 as Investment Associate.

She has extensive previous experience in corporate banking as a Finance and Advisory Associate in the Unicredit SpA team, after completing a graduate program offering varied experiences in related roles within the Bank.

After graduating in Economics and Management, she was awarded a Master of Science degree in International Management at Bocconi University in Milan.

He has been with Anima Alternative since July 2022 as Investment Associate.

He gained experience in managing Special Situations as a Debt restructuring and Advisory Services Associate at Crédit Agricole CIB. Previously, at Crédit Agricole CIB he has also worked in the Securitisation team.

He holds a Master of Science degree in Finance from Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia.

Leonardo Scandaglia works as Investment Analyst in Anima Alternative since February 2024. Previously, he worked in the private debt division of Ver Capital SGR. Prior to that, he gained experience in Investment Banking at Crédit Agricole CIB in Frankfurt, ING in Amsterdam and Banco Santander in Milan.

He holds a Master of Science Degree in Economics from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan.

Andrea Sivilotti is Investment Analyst at ANIMA Alternative since November 2022. Previously, he took part in ANIMA's Graduate Program, where from 2021 to 2022 he worked as Fixed Income Analyst for ANIMA Sgr, M&A and Strategic Planning Analyst for ANIMA Holding, and Private Debt Analyst for ANIMA Alternative. Before that, he worked at Quantyx and KPMG.

He holds a Master of Science Degree with honors in Management from Bocconi University in Milan.
